El Paso International Airport (ELP) is located approximately seventeen miles southwest of Downtown El Paso, Texas. It serves more than 250 air carriers worldwide. The terminal includes gates, baggage drop, shops, restaurants, banks and bars, as well as parking areas. Most Airline ticket offices are closed and under renovation. The main terminal building includes seven concourses and over three dozen gates. There is a large central business district in El Paso that includes a number of corporations such as the United States Postal Service, AT&T, Taco Bell, Dunkin' Donuts, Coca-Cola, UPS, Discover Card, Pay Pal and KFC.
There are fourteen different routes that fly into or out of ELP. One can either drive through the El Paso City Limits Parkway, exit at the Airport Road intersection, turn left onto Airport Road and continue to the third traffic light, then follow all stop signs, exit onto Airport Road, take your first right on Airport Road, go straight ahead until you see the road that has a sign that says Ramp or Gateway Boulevard then cross over and turn left into Ramp or Gateway boulevard, it is about three miles down, once on Ramp or Gateway Boulevard, they will make you pull over on their way to the hospital and you will be stopped and given a $4.80 fine because you were towing with an expired license plate while driving two speeds over the speed limit. They want you to park along the side of the road to prevent blocking pedestrian crossings and to ease traffic flow.
