A gripping story that is full of interesting information, captivating characters and shocking climaxes is what makes up the book "The Last Ship" by William Brinkley.
Ranking Juju Watkins among the best freshman players at college basketball is not an easy task but there are many excellent reasons why she stands out in the ranks. The 6ft1ins guard from North Carolina is already showing signs of being one of the most dominant players in the nation during her freshman season. She is an elite shooter, with a 45 percent field-goal percentage in her first five games, which is a major reason why she was considered the best player by her coaches (and by sports media). Her sharpshooting ability has allowed her to make deep three-pointers from just about anywhere inside the three-point line. Watkins also possesses great quickness and athleticism to beat defenders on the perimeter.
Watkins, however, can also score on the move and handle defenses with ease. She uses her size to get her hands on loose balls and draw fouls to free up her teammates for better opportunities. In fact, she finished second in the ACC in field goal attempts during her first six games of the year. This means that while some of her shots may fall short, the majority of them go in. Watkins also excels at playing defense, proving that she is more than capable of holding up her own when asked to do so. In her first seven games, she had no turnovers and only recorded four assists against her 30 steals. With this type of performance, it's no surprise why some experts rank her as one of the top recruits in the country or even the best female basketball players in recent memory.
