Apple Loses Innovative Case Against Texas Instruments
On May 3, Apple was forced to appeal to a federal appeals court against an injunction by rival company Texas Instruments that would have prevented Apple from selling a pair of smartwatch devices. This move means Apple could also lose its case at the Supreme Court. If this decision goes ahead, it could end up blocking the sale of the new Apple Watch Series 5 and Watch Series 4.
